New Women's class!!
Often hearing, “I wish I could take your classes but I don’t have a baby, toddler, etc”...well, your wish is our command!! We are slowly expanding our programming to include classes for women. This fall we are introducing our new women’s evening class:
I always chuckle when I hear Katriona say she has “secret agent abs” hidden in her body!! Can you relate to this? If you can, then this class is for you! This is a hybrid of the Cradle ‘n Core class taken to a new level while still focusing on stretch, strength and stability. All shapes, all sizes, all moods, all levels of fitness welcome. Mom & Baby Fall 2010 classes
Mommas needing to get out of the house...DON'T WORRY!!! I am a bit behind this fall as we have a 6-week old "in tha house" so I am working in between feeding & diaper-changing! The schedule for our fall classes will be available for registration the week of August 23rd. If you're not on the mailing list you may subscribe on the right hand side of this page and will receive notification of all SBH Studios events & classes. Fall 2010 preschool dance
It was my own deep love for my child that gave me the courage to start this business, and it will be that same deep love that helps ensure that this business remains headed in an honest direction, modeling the values we hope to encourage and instill in every family that crosses our threshold. As you all have entered in to the riches and joy of parenting and spending time with your little ones in our classes, I am hoping that you will celebrate with me as I take time to do the same for my own little loves.
One analogy I always refer to in decision making is this, for every one tall and strong tree we see planted in the ground, able to withstand weather and wind, we must remember that in order to gain solid roots and a trunk, pruning was required throughout its lifetime. The gardener has a vision in mind and is willing to make the necessary cuts in order to bring that tree to its full mature glory.
That being said, the difficult decision has been made to NOT run any preschool classes at this time. The idea of posting the preschool dance schedule while being on the "schedule" of a 6-week old newborn is laughable! Having told everyone that finalizing my fall class load is contingent upon meeting our new child. It just so happens I have a son that is a bottomless pit who nurses constantly and refuses to take a soother which rather limits my ability to devote the hours needed to offer the caliber of classes we have all come to know. I am planning on resuming the full preschool dance schedule in our Winter 2011 session. Thank you for your understanding!

Summer hiatus due to NEW BABY!
Hola Amigos! We are currently on a hiatus for the entire month of July due to the arrival of our second child on July 4, 2010 - so as you can imagine, we have our hands full right now!! Any inquiries regarding classes will be responded to in early August. As we adjust to life and "respond to the rhythms of this momma and child" we are looking at what the realistic class load will be for me (Kirsty) to teach this fall and hope to have a schedule in place by mid-late August.

We plan to have another shipment arrive for our fall classes and will have those available Sept/Oct.
