Philosophy
From the Artistic Director…
I am a strong believer that the first five years of a child's life has great influence over their remaining school years into early adulthood. Our preschool classes are thoughtfully designed and executed to support the complete health of our wee dancers: physical, mental and emotional. My staff and I are passionate about kids and are keenly aware of the great impact our roles as teachers have. We care about the future of our children and know that our programs will give them confidence and most importantly, a positive and fun learning experience that will prepare them as they enter kindergarten (yikes!).
The post-natal classes are the icing on the cake as we have the privilege of supporting the mothers that are raising our future generations! The “Mamacita philosophy” says that a Mamacita knows her inner beauty and takes the steps needed to be a fulfilled woman, in addition to being a Mom! I know from my own personal experience that healthy parents mean healthy kids.
It is a gift to wake up every day doing what I love. Some days I feel insane for having started a business while raising a toddler...but as many of you know - we’ll do ANYTHING for our kids! On the flip side of that, I’ve also learned that one of the best things I can do for my daughter is to respect and take care of myself - something Moms need more of. The classes I teach provide the exercise I need to stay healthy and strong. The business that I run makes me feel that my daughter may one day look at me and know that she too can accomplish her dreams!
I look forward to dancing our way through those first adventure-filled days of parenthood... and remember, come as you are!
Warmly,
Kirsty Snowsell

We are more than a funny name…
The heart of this company comes from a mix of my own personal passions and a family philosophy that I inherited when I married my husband. His mother, Ann, was a very special woman who sought to live a life of abundance and adventure. As our parents, Doug and Ann Snowsell ventured to Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador and Spain, they took with them the belief that each day was a gift and they always had a choice as to how they faced each and every day. She loved to journal and often times would begin with these words, “well, another Snowsellberryhead adventure begins…”
Their poignant and final adventure was an all-too-brief journey through cancer ending with Anni passing away just eleven weeks after her diagnosis. Even in facing the toughest circumstances, she was gracious, loving, bold and empowered. She believed that her life was part of a greater plan and prayed fervently for the lives of those she would be leaving behind. I am blessed to be a daughter to this brilliant woman and hope that every family we meet has the opportunity to live and love with bold abandon for we all know that every moment is a gift.
May today be the beginning of your families’ adventure!
